Representation in Arizona civil matters
For individuals and small businesses with disputes that are, or could be, heard in an Arizona justice or municipal court.
What I handle
From the first letter to the final hearing.
Most matters are handled for a flat fee, quoted in writing before any work begins.
- Contract disputesUnpaid invoices, breached agreements, and work that wasn't delivered as promised.
- Lawsuit defenseFiling your answer on time, building the defense, and managing every deadline after it.
- Debt collectionRecovering money you're owed, or defending against a claim you dispute.
- Demand lettersA clear, well-supported letter that often resolves the matter before anyone files.
- Settlement & mediationNegotiating a resolution that makes sense for the amount at stake.
- Court representationPreparing for and appearing at hearings and trial on your behalf.
Where your case belongs
The amount in dispute decides the court.
Up to $5,000
Small claims hearings don't allow attorneys or LPs unless both sides agree in writing. Either side can move the case to the civil division, where I can represent you.
Up to $10,000
Justice court civil cases. This is the range my license covers: advice, filings, negotiation, hearings, and trial.
Over $10,000
Superior court. I'll tell you at our first conversation and help you find a licensed attorney.
Amounts exclude interest, costs, and awarded fees. Family, criminal, and administrative matters are outside an LP's Civil Law endorsement.
